I have worked with a number of people who had mold in the blood and/or the body and have suggested the following with great results.

If either of us had mold in the blood or the body, we would be taking the following oils in a “00″ gel capsule every 2-3 hours a day:

10 drops Thieves oil
4 drops Frankincense oil
2 drops Oregano oil
2 drops Thyme oil

Sometimes we would leave out the Thyme or the Oregano oil and substitute Mountain Savory or Melissa instead.

We would also take Inner Defense and Longevity capsules, drink 4-8 oz of NingXia Red, and do the Cleansing Trio every day as directed on the bottles for at least 3 months. Also Life 5 is very helpful.

We drink half our body weight in pure water every day. We would also eliminate mushrooms and other fungi and yeast, including breads, and also sugars as much as possible.

And we would be diffusing everywhere, for 30 minutes at a time and at least 3-4 times a day. We have 5 diffusers in our home and always take a diffuser with us when we travel – the cold-air diffuser with a 6.0 Watts pump. We alternate diffusing Thieves, Purification, and a blend of 10 drops Lemon, 5 drops Peppermint and 5-10 drops Abundance. Abundance has clove, cinnamon, frankincense, and myrrh oil – all have antifungal/antibacterial properties. Sometimes we diffuse 10 drops lemongrass, 10 drops eucalyptus (any of them or RC) and 3-5 drops melaleuca (any of them or Melrose) oils together – these are also great antifungal agents. I also like to use a blend I make of 10 drops Cinnamon Bark, 10 drops Lemongrass, 20 drops Clove. We don’t have scientific data collected to back up the benefits of these other blends in eliminating mold, however, we do use them personally.

Raindrop is great for people with this, but be careful not to do the technique more than once a month until they have completed several month’s of cleansing.

Also, I have worked with several people who have had wonderful results using this protocol. If you decide to use this, please let me know how it works for you.

Dr. Daniel Penoel says become “Aromatic Warriors” when there is something of a potentially dangerous nature affecting us. We certainly adhere to that advice. Mold can be very serious. Do not treat it lightly.

Warm Hugs,
Jacqui Close

Gentle Baby is made to be used on babies (and mommies!!) I used it on my belly while pregnant with my #8 and #9 and did not get any new stretch marks from those pregnancies.

I put Gentle Baby in V-6 and do full body massages with it on babies. My #9 was a preemie and I would put Gentle Baby on my hands and rub them together and let him smell it when he couldn’t even be touched.

Gentle Baby is oxygenating. I heard a testimonial at a Level I training in 2000 where a lady told about he daughter delivering her grand child. As he crowned, the skin on his head was black (lack of oxygen)as it was a difficult birth. They started applying Gentle Baby to mom’s belly (lots of it) and when the baby was born, he pinked right up and had no further problems.

My friend delivered her 8th baby (I know, lots of babies between me and her and we had another friend with 9 children!!) at home. When she was born, she had dusky extremities(hands and feet) and a portion of her head would get dusky. All they had to do was diffuse Gentle Baby in a room, take her into the room and she pinked right up and stayed pink for quite a while. When she got dusky again, they would take her back into the “Gentle Baby room”. They also applied it to her diluted in V-6. In a few day she stayed pinked up!!

It is a beautiful oil and made to be used, diluted, on babies and mommies!!

Make the day great!

171 – ADD / ADHD

First for some background information:
My son was excited to earn a college lacrosse scholarship. Unfortunately, he decided to quit taking his meds while away at college because he didn’t like how they made him feel – sleepy most of the time (BTW, our pediatrician warned us and Bryan that 70-75% of his ADD/ADHD college students go off of their meds in college and that is was the wrong thing to do). He was taking Strattera (80 mg/day) for his Attention Deficit Disorder and Zoloft for depression. Since he had really obnoxious roommates and he wasn’t taking his meds, he began self-medicating with alcohol and later with marijuana.

Four weeks from the end of his first year in college, he got kicked out for breaking too many rules. He returned home where we got him substance abuse counseling and helped him get off of marijuana (he’s now been clean for months – we drug test him). He also had to get a job in order to pay for his next year of college because we weren’t going to pay for any more college until he completed the first year of college that we paid for and he squandered.

We met with his pediatrician about some alternative ADD meds for him to try (along with a myriad of side effects). I asked if he would be willing to try essential oils instead of medication and he agreed. I initially started him with another company’s Vetiver but Bryan could tell no difference in how he felt. I then spent a little more money and bought the Young Living Essential Oils (YLEO) Vetiver that I put on the bottom of both of his big toes each morning. He told me he could tell a difference within days as he was less angry and he wasn’t having outbursts. We could tell he was less annoying than he normally is off of meds.

Later I added Valor for his depression and Clarity for his being more alert in class. He’s been on YLEO Vetiver for about 4 months and the other oils for a couple of weeks. He is adjusting well to the local community college while also working 20 evening hours at UPS as a package handler. He is actually fairly positive about his classes and work, which is unusual for him. He’s talkative and outgoing. I attribute this to the oils because his life is not easy (he calls it “living in the struggle”). He really likes not having the negative side effects from his previous meds, which included nausea with any movement, stomach pain, and occasional headaches. I wish I had known about these oils years ago. We tried nearly every possible alternative to meds for our son and nothing made a significant difference until YLEO oils.

170 – Swollen Feet

My feet were swelling and I attributed it to Lymphedema
from Cancer surgery. It turns out that if your lower back
is out, it will cause your feet to swell. I had no back pain,
just needed an adjustment and the swelling
immediately went down.

Blessings and have a safe holiday to all,

168 – Herpes Simplex

Here is a quote from the “Reference Guide for Using Essential Oils” by Connie and Alan Higley concerning Herpes Simplex:

“Jean Valnet, M.D., a French physician, recommends a blend of lemon and geranium. Tisserand suggests eucalyptus and bergamot. Dr. Wabner says that a one-time application of either true rose oil or true melissa oil led to a complete remission of herpes simplex lesions. Apply the oil directly on the lesions at the first sign of an out break. (Alternative Medicine – The Definitive Guide, p. 56).”

167 – Depression

What worked wellf for me was Valor. It still does when I get depressed, but I don’t get depressed that often anymore, thank God!! Just a drop or two of Valor every day will do it; simply apply a drop on the soles of the feet after taking a shower and a drop on the wrist and behind the ears as well, like perfume. At first, you may need to apply it more often, if the depression is severe. Everytime you feel like you can’t cope, apply a drop of Valor on the wrists and behind the ears, and inhale profoundly, closing your eyes. It starts working in just a few minutes. It’s just amazing!!

There is a wonderful book by Carolyn Mein, D.C. entitled “Releasing Emotional Patterns With Essential Oils”. This book is available by cutting and pasting or typing the email addresses below in the address line of your email incase you cannot access these sites through this email. www.essentialscience.net and or www.abundanthealth4u.com The cost of this easy read book is $14.95.

In this book it states some of the best oils for Depression are: Hope, Valor, Joy, Lavender, White Angelica, Gentle Baby, Inner Child, Sara, Peace & Calming, Citrus Fresh, Humility and Christmas Spirit.

For issues of being Overwhelmed: layer, Acceptance and Hope, Valor, or Grounding.

For issues of Anger and Hate: Forgiveness, Acceptance, Humility, Release or Joy. Deep-seated anger may also need Helichrysum and /or Valor to have the strength to forgive. (Layer if using more than one blend.)

Rejection: Acceptance layered with Forgiveness.

Whatever, the choice of oils, use them faithfully everyday. Gary Young has said the liver is our “fear factory” everything we feel and also all the toxins our body releases are stored in the liver. So be sure to use Release on the liver and Harmony on the solar plexus area of the body. Valor on the feet, 5 drops on the bottom of each foot 6 days of the week, balances out the energy field of the body.

Nutrition plays a huge
factor in our mental and physical well being so eating all the right foods contributes greatly.

I hope some of this information helps.

Blessings to you and yours,
Linda

In the latest Essential LIfestyle magazine, on Page 35, there’s a Mood Elevating Protocol in the upper right hand corner of the page. Vicki Opfer shared this…as she has in the Yahoo forums also. There was a friend of mine who used it for her depression and she really noticed a difference. One weekend she was busy and forgot to do it. By Monday she wasn’t feeling herself and then she realized that she hadn’t done the protocol over the weekend. She started it again and all was well. She was able to get out of bed more cheerfully and felt like doing something during the day.

Also, the newest person in my organization I met at a Women’s Fair where I had a booth. She won the 5 ml bottles of Joy and Lavender that I had as a raffle. I told her about all the uses for Lavender and then for Joy, I mentioned about putting a drop over your heart in the morning to make you feel Joyous! She called me the next afternoon very excited. She is the director of Human Resources and accounting for one of our state offices….so there is some stress there! She said that usually, by the afternoon, she has tension in her shoulders and sometimes a slight headache. Well, she was driving home from work and she didn’t have the tension or the headache! And, she said, she still had the same stresses that day..so it wasn’t that…it had to be the Joy oil! She purchased the Everyday Oils kit the next day!

The protocol is below for those that might not have the magazine in front of
them:

*Mood Elevating Protocol*

* *

*Valor:* Apply to bottoms of feet or place a single drop on one wrist and hold the other wrist to it for a few moments to balance the entire system.

*Harmony:* Place a single drop over the solar plexus (area above the belly button)

*Joy:* Apply a single drop over the heart.

*White Angelica:* Place a single drop in one hand, rub hands together and brush over the head, face, chest, shoulders, down the body, and right over the clothes as though applying an angelic shield.

The oil I used for depression was lemon on my throat, which would be my thyroid. I wasn’t severely depressed, more like I felt down a lot. But depression does run in my family so I pay attention to how I feel.

The lemon oil made me feel lighter, happier.

Happy oiling,

I have a friend who had a son becoming more and more depressed. She diffused Joy in his room. It helped bring him out of it. I would also use the tree oils, cedarwood, Idaho Balsam Fir, cypress, frankincense, sandalwood. They are very grounding. There is a book available on Abundant Health that a psychologist wrote. He has helped people with depression and bi polar. Dr. Greg Hitter I think is his name. The tree oils are grounding for people and can lift their mood. Diffuse, apply topically, put on a hanky or piece of flannel under the pillow case. Get on Vitamin D as lack of Vit D3 causes depression.

Blessings,

I deal with high-functioning depression constantly. The things I do to keep on track are diffusing. I don’t care what oil I have in the diffuser. It is kept on all the time. Diffusing is vital. Frankincense on the brainstem is marvelous, reading/watching uplifting true stories, (I use the Chicken Soup Series to get cathartic release) IdahoBalsam Fir is an instant up-Stress Away and all the Amazon oils are wonderful. Massage and/or foot treatments for the touch therapy is wonderful.

Nutrition and exericse along with deeper breathing supports the work of the oils. (Eat alkaline and cleanse 1 day a week. Yoga) The 2 things that help me the most are acts of service. One to a human and one to God. If I can focus on someone else just for a simple act it keeps me climbing up. An act of service for God to me means I acknowledge I am His daughter, He loves me and I have great value to Him. I use the oils from the old Feeling’s kit for my meditation/service act to God.

I daily set the intent to share a smile with a stranger. I give thanks for blessings.

I hope the oils can help one who isn’t able to help themselves.

166 – Edema

What has helped my mother who has kidney
problems get rid of excess fluid has been the following:

1 drop each of geranium, juniper, orange and lemon
oils in about 1/4 cup of water or juice, like NingXia Red.
She just did it once a day and each day the swelling was l
ess and by the fourth day there was no edema. This has
worked countless times for her and also for a friend of mine.

No side effects, too.

Be well,
Jeannie

165 – Emphysema

I used Thieves with a hospice client a few years ago.
It helped decrease her coughing and open up her breathing.
The nurse/doctor had used every pharmacological med they
had and nothing worked until this. The nurse became a
believer in oils and we became close friends, him being
opened up for oils for other issues.

163 – Heart Attack

For all you wonderful Oilers,

I want to thank you from the bottom of heart for the information you have posted for us newbies.

Oiling has made such an amazing difference in my hubby’s life since his Heart Attack and ED pre-symptoms that we should have paid attention to. The meds in the first four months along w/exercise did not help him, they caused more damage. (especially his arm muscles became damaged-extreem pain when lifted above his heart)probably from the ‘Simvisatatin’.

He decided to stop that one (since he never had high blood pressure, and began to take the Gary Young Regemin suggestions..one at a time…each month he added one more YLO product. He’s now got more stamina, can feel more energy, not yet strong though, and healthier than ever before.

YLEO’s gave him hope that things would be better. His life can be lived fully and more energized.

This would not be possible if you all did not write your stories here for all to see.

Thank you,
Tammy
